Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said that Russian President Vladimir Putin can freely visit Brazil at next year's G-20, adding that there is no way he'd be arrested.
"I believe that Putin can go easily to Brazil," the Brazilian president said. "What I can say to you is that if I'm president of Brazil, and he comes to Brazil, there's no way he will be arrested."
Lula also added that he planned to attend a BRICS meeting in Russia, which is slated to happen before next year's G-20.
