Bihar BJP leader Gajendra Jha has been expelled from the party for his comments on former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. The Bharatiya Janata Party had sought an explanation from him in 15 days.
Former Bihar CM and Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) chief Jitan Ram Manjhi recently courted controversy after he made an alleged derogatory remark against the Brahmin community. “Nowadays, devotion towards religion is being seen more among the poor sections of the people. We did not know the name or worship Lord Satnarayan. Now in every tola, we worship Lord Satnarayan. They have no shame as these pandits **** come and say that they will not eat anything at your house but prefer to take money instead," Jitan Ram Manjhi had said.
