Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh on Friday said media reports indicating that he may resign soon over the Antilia bomb scare case and other matters related to it are "baseless". I met Hon'ble Pawar Saheb today to discuss the important Mihan project of Vidarbha. We also discussed the investigation carried out in the last 2days by #ATS & #NIA in Mansukh Hiren and Sachin Waze's case. The news of my resignation that is being shown by the media is baseless. I met Hon'ble Sharad Pawar Ji at his residence in Delhi & had discussions on the Antilia case. I also informed him that the State Govt is extending full cooperation to #NIA & lawful actions will be taken based on the findings. In a tweet, Anil Deshmukh said he met Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar on Friday and apprised him about the ongoing investigations in these cases. Anil Deshmukh, a senior NCP leader, has been facing severe criticism from the Opposition over the police handling of the bomb scare at Mukesh Ambani's home, and cases related to suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze and death of Thane-based businessman Mansukh Hiren.More Related News
