Assam CM visits flood-hit areas; situation improves in Morigaon district

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visited flood-hit areas in the state on Sunday. Overall, the flood situation has improved slightly across the state.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visited the flood affected Barak valley area where a resident braved flood waters to greet him with a 'Gamusa' on Sunday.

The CM also inspected flood-affected areas and listened to people's grievances in Silchar.
