David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne both made 95 runs each as Australia dominated proceedings on Day 1 of the Adelaide Test against England on Thursday.
Australia dominated proceedings on the first day of the second Test in Adelaide to reach a strong position after electing to bat first against England. Marnus Labuschagne and David Warner led the charge for the hosts as they reached 221 for 2 at stumps on Day 1 at the Adelaide Oval.
Warner, who was batting with bruised ribs, missed out on his hundred once again and got out for 95 while Labuschagne remained unbeaten on 95, along with Steve Smith on 18 not out. Warner had got out for 94 in the first innings of the series-opener in Brisbane last week.
