Asaduddin Owaisi to raise issue of attack with Lok Sabha speaker; AIMIM units to hold stir across India

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi will seek time to meet the Lok Sabha Speaker today to discuss the attack on him. Aurangabad MP, Imtiyaz Jaleel has stated that all AIMIM units across India will register a peaceful protest on Friday, February 4.
A day after shots were fired at Asaduddin Owaisi’s car, Aurangabad MP, Imtiyaz Jaleel stated that All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) units throughout India will organise a peaceful protest on Friday, February 4.
He added that protesting AIMIM members will submit memorandums to the respective commissioners seeking a thorough investigation into the attacks on Asaduddin Owaisi.
Jaleel also sought the highest security for AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi during his public meetings in Uttar Pradesh.
Protesting the attacks on the AIMIM chief, a black flag was hoisted at Charminar. Shop owners at the famous ladbazar (market on one of the roads that branch out from Charminar) closed their shops as a sign of protest. Hawkers at Charminar also downed shutters as a sign of protest.
After the attack on the AIMIM chief in UP, City police in Hyderabad were put on high alert. Officers were told to intensify patrols and monitor the situation.
The situation in Hyderabad’s old city is peaceful and special prayers were organised for Owaisi in a mosque.
Owaisi’s brother and MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi and Malakpet MLA Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala (Owaisi’s relative) reached Delhi and met party chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
