Anti-corruption raids in 80 locations against 21 Karnataka govt officials in DA case; cash, jewels seized

A total of 80 locations belonging to 21 Karnataka government officials are being raided by ACB officials. Investigators have recovered unaccounted cash and jewellery from a house belonging to the parents of a police inspector in Raichur district.
The Karnataka Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) is conducting raids on 21 government officials in connection with Disproportionate Assets (DA) cases. Officials have seized cash and jewellery from the house of a police inspector’s parents.
A team of 550 officers and staff are conducting searches in 80 locations across the state. Investigating officers have seized verified documents and unaccounted cash and jewellery worth lakhs of rupees.
Cash and jewellery have been seized from a house belonging to the parents of Police Inspector Uday Ravi in Mudugal in Karnataka’s Raichur district.
