Amid the cancel culture of Bollywood, Ananya Panday said she feels it has become a cycle where everyday someone is being boycotted. The actress also talked about the North-South divide.
The cancel culture seems to have taken over Bollywood by storm. Currently, Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha is trending on Twitter ahead of the film's release. Starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. LSC is all set to hit the theatres on August 10. Amid this cancel culture, Ananya Panday, who is busy promoting Liger, opened up on it. She said that it has become a cycle where everyday someone is being boycotted or someone is being canceled. Ananya also weighed in on the North-South divide.
Talking about the cancel culture, Ananya Panday said, "I think it's like a cycle. Every day, someone is getting boycotted or everyone is being canceled. We are losing our track. I even asked someone whether I have been boycotted or am I still fine. I get to know new things every day. This is what I understood. You have to learn how to filter things. You should know what are the things to be taken seriously. I don't take them seriously.
The North-South divide has been a topic of discussion for a while now. Weighing on that, Ananya Panday said that she doesn't feel any difference in both the cultures. She said, "To be honest, I haven't found any difference. Every film and director are different from each other. I have felt this simple difference. At the same time, I see why there is so much confusion among people. Why are they creating so much difference between North and South? We have made an Indian film."
