His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani chairs the meeting of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired Tuesday morning the Council's second meeting in 2021 at the Amiri Diwan. His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Deputy Chairman of the Council, attended the meeting along with HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, Executive Member of the Council and Their Excellencies the members of the Council. The Council reviewed the decisions and recommendations made in the first meeting, and the project follow-up report. The council also discussed the country's economic priorities and took appropriate decisions on them. The Council reviewed the presentation on the challenges of the SMEs, the presentation of mechanisms and policies to support local products and increase their competitiveness, the anti-dumping law and the anti-cover-up law, in addition to the presentation on the application of local added value in the country. The council also discussed the topics listed on its agenda and took the appropriate decisions thereon.More Related News
