Amazfit GTS 2 mini new version to launch in India on April 11

With the new version of the GTS 2 mini, Amazfit has retained the compact form factor and introduced a lot of new features and color options.
Amazfit is all set to unveil the successor to the GTS 2 mini. The smartwatch was launched last year and was received well by the audience. The GTS 2 mini featured a compact dial, which caught the attention of the female buyers. With the new version of the GTS 2 mini, Amazfit has retained the compact form factor and introduced a lot of new features and color options. The original GTS 2 mini was launched at Rs 6999 but the new version will be priced lower than the original GTS 2 mini.
The company has announced the new version of the GTS 2 mini will be launched in India on April 11. The smartwatch will be available at an introductory price of Rs 4999. It was priced at Rs 5999, which is Rs 1000 less than the price of the original GTS 2 mini. The smartwatch can be purchased from the official websites of Amazfit and Amazon India.
Amazfit GTS 2 mini features a 1.55-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 354*356 pixels. It has an aluminium and plastic body and the strap is made up of silli The watch comes with a bunch of sensors including the Acceleration sensor, Gyroscope sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Ambient light sensor, Vibration Motor, BioTracke 2 PPG bio-tracking optical heart rate sensor. It has also comes with a couple of sensors including -24 hour heart rate monitoringBlood-oxygen Saturation Measurement, PAI Health Assessment, Sleep Quality Monitoring, Stress Level Monitoring, Menstrual tracking. Amazfit has introduced new colour options including Breeze Blue, Flamingo Pink and Meteor Black.
The watch can be paired with the Zepp ap. The users can choose from over 80+ watch faces and over 60 always on watch display patterns. The smartwatch can be pairable with smartphones running Android 5.0 or iOS 10.0 and above. As far as the battery is concerned, the company claims that the smartwatch can last for up to 14 days on regular usage and 21 days on Basic Power Usage (Power saver). It takes over 2 hours to fully charge the Amazfit GTS 2 mini.
We at India Today Tech got a chance to review the GTS 2 mini original version and this is what we felt about the device: If you are looking for a smartwatch that looks good, feels good, and tracks good, there is no reason why you should not pick the GTS 2 mini. However, considering the GTS 2 mini has a small form factor, it is only suitable for smaller wrists. So if you want a biggish watch, add a little more money and get the GTR 2 or the GTS 2. The GTS 2 mini does not come with very high-end features including a speaker or a voice assistant, nor does it run on WearOS. It uses Amazfit's custom OS.
However, at Rs 6,999, Amazfit GTS 2 is the most stylish watch available in the market. It has over 70 activity modes, and a plethora of watch faces to choose from. But if you are looking for smoothing cheaper, you should consider the Amazfit BIP U, which looks similar and is an excellent fitness tracker-cum-smartwatch at around Rs 3,499.
