There are some healthy things people can do to reduce their risk of depression, as revealed in a new study published in the journal Nature Mental Health. Here are the seven steps.
Researchers from the University of Cambridge evaluated a number of factors, including genetics, brain structure, lifestyle choices, immune health and metabolic systems, according to a press release. Melissa Rudy is health editor and a member of the lifestyle team at Fox News Digital.
They analyzed nine years of data from the UK Biobank for nearly 290,000 people, 13,000 of whom were diagnosed with depression.
