39 Women Army officers get Permanent Commission

Indian Army on Friday granted Permanent Commission (PC) to its thirty-nine women officers, it said in a statement.

In a major move, thirty-nine women officers of the Indian Army were granted Permanent Commission (PC) on Friday.

This comes after the Supreme Court directed the Army to consider granting Permanent Commission to the women officers by November 1.
