3 dead, 18 injured as roof collapses during wedding in Lucknow

Three people, including a young girl, died as the roof of the house collapsed suddenly during the wedding procession. 18 others have been injured and were taken to nearby hospitals.
Three people were killed when the roof of a house collapsed during a marriage ceremony in the Bijnor police station area in Lucknow. 18 others were injured and admitted to nearby hospitals.
The accident occurred in a house as the guests welcomed the wedding procession that had come from another village. The roof of the house suddenly collapsed, killing three people, including a young girl.
Two people who were critically injured have been taken to the Lok Bandhu Hospital in Lucknow while the others are being treated in the community health centre in Sarojini Nagar. Some have been admitted to the Trauma Centre in Lucknow.
Lucknow Police Commissioner, D.K. Thakur said that on April 21, there was a marriage in which the procession had come from another village when the tragic accident took place.
The injured are currently undergoing treatment.
