A total of 23 out of 29 MPs skipped the Parliamentary panel meet on the doubling income of farmers.
On a day when the farmers' protest completed its one-year anniversary, with demands for minimum support price (MSP) still finding prominence, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Agriculture had to be adjourned.
The meeting's agenda was to discuss the subject "Doubling farmers' income by 2022" and was scheduled to be briefed by the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
