2 rebel ministers demand 'historic town' of Batala to be declared as 24th district of Punjab

Two cabinet ministers have written to Punjab CM Amarinder Singh over upgrading Batala as the 24th district of the state.
Two rebel ministers- Tripat Rajinder Singh Bajwa and Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa- have sought an appointment with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh over the creation of Batala as the 24th district in the state. The two Cabinet ministers had recently revolted against the Punjab chief minister, but have now sought time to meet him. Both have sent a written request to Captain Amarinder Singh, demanding that Batala be declared as a new district.More Related News
