Ramban police have arrested two absconders from the Kashmir region.
Ramban police have arrested two absconders from the Kashmir region. The duo had been evading arrest for the last 25 and 11 years, respectively.
On June 13, Batote police produced one absconder, namely Mohammad Shafi, S/0 Ali Mohd R/0 Kangan Ganderbal, who had been absconding under the complaint US 15/16/36 of 1996 Forest Act.
Also, one more absconder, Mohammad Reyaz, S/0 Abdul Rahseed R/0 Paspura Kokernag Anantnag, had been absconding for the last 11 years in connection with a case FIR No 149/2011 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PC Act.
The overall arrest was made by police parties under the command of Inspector Rakesh Singh, SHO Batote, under the supervision of Pardeep Singh Sen, Deputy SP, HQ Ramban with the overall supervision of SSP Ramban, Mohita Sharma IPS.
