Twelve people have been injured in an explosion at the Gujarat Fluoro Chemicals factory in the Panchmahal district of Gujarat.

The superintendent of Police said that rescue and firefighting operations are being conducted at the factory. The explosion was so loud that the blast could be heard from several kilometres away.
